A wrap of the goings on in the Blue Jays system yesterday…..
Dunedin travelled down the Gulf Coast to take on Fort Myers on a drizzly night. Nate Pearson tossed a pair of shutout innings, but was removed after a brief 2nd inning rain delay. Zeroes on the scoreboard were prominent on this evening until the Miracle walked it off by scoring in the home half of the 9th. Vladimir Guerrero Jr played in back-to-back games for the first time this season, and went 1-3.
In Lansing, starter Josh Winckowski took a ground ball off the ankle/lower leg in the second inning, and although he finished the frame, was taken out likely for precautionary reasons. The Lugs had Home Runs from Reggie Pruitt and Alejandro Kirk, but were edged 7-6 by West Michigan. Jordan Groshans continued his hot start with a pair of singles.
In a cold night in Buffalo, the Bisons dropped a 6-4 decision to Pawtucket. Jordan Patterson hit a pair of RBI doubles, and made a fine running catch at the RF wall. Cavan Biggio extended his hit streak to six games, and Bo Bichette snapped an 0-16 run with a sixth-inning single.
New Hampshire and Reading were snowed out.
Great site first time here keep it up
